Mahashay Dharampal was born on 27 March 1923 in Sialkot, Pakistan. His father's name is Mahasay Chunni Lal and mother's name is Chanan Devi.
Mahashay Dharampal has only studied till the 5th. His father used to run a chili spice shop in Sialkot.
After the 5th, his father used him for employment, sometimes in a soap factory, sometimes in a rice factory, sometimes in cloth work, sometimes in hardware work, but he did not feel like anywhere. After losing, his father fixed him in his shop.
After this, at the time of Partition in 1947, he left everything in Pakistan and came to Delhi and stayed in a refugee camp with the whole family in the Delhi Cantt area. At that time he had only 1500 rupees.
Due to bad time and unemployment, and not having a house, Dharampal did not break down and went to Chandni Chowk to find work for the maintenance of himself and his family.
After having less education there and not getting the work of the mind, he bought a horse tanga for 650 rupees. For some time, he carried the traffic on the streets of Delhi at the rate of two per ride.
He did not like this work even after running the Tanga for a few days. And he sold a tanga and bought a wooden kiosk and started his ancestral spices and named it Sialkot Mahashi di Hatti Degi chili wale.
It was fueled by vision, constant effort, honesty, and the best quality of issues After this, he left the kiosk and took a shop.
Then gradually from shop to factory, factory to company, and today, Mahashiya di Hatti became a brand in the spices sector, which has made its own identity in the country today as MDH. It is the largest company in the spices sector, whose spices are not only in India but in every country of the world.
Today MDH Offices and outlets in London, Dubai, the U.S. apart from every city in India, U.K., Canada, Europe, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Japan and most countries of the world including.
